JOB DESCRIPTION
Our company is growing and we are currently looking for a civil design engineer. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.
Responsibilities for civil design engineer:
- Designs rough grading, precise grading, erosion control, WQMP, LID, street and wet utility plans
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Understands hydrology and hydraulics modeling
- Familiarity with local street and drainage requirements
- Experience in local land development process and regulatory permitting agencies
- Performs development plan checking and staff augmentation
- Preparation of technical reports in support of the project development
- Prepares cost and quantity estimates
QUALIFICATIONS
- Motivated to deliver to a high quality
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guidelines
- Civil Engineering (min bach degree); BS in Civil Engineering, MS in Civil Engineering preferred
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
