ASCE at California State University, Long Beach, hosted a series of events in February and March, including professional networking opportunities, social gatherings, and skill-building workshops. The event includes the ASCE LA YMF Student Scholarship and Job Fair Night, PSWS sports social and mini PSWS, and mock interview workshops. It also includes collaborative meetings with organizations like SWE and ITE and prepares students for events like PSWS in Hawaii.

First Spring General Body Meeting

We had our first GBM of the Spring Semester with SGH, during which our members learned about their engineering firm and work culture.
Second Spring General Body Meeting

We had our 2nd GBM meeting in collaboration with ITE, where members got to know each other through fun games and learned more about ITE and ASCE.
PSWS BBQ

On March 2, we had our PSWS BBQ in preparation for PSWS in Hawaii. All our teams showcased their project progress, had fun while doing so, and enjoyed some food as well.
Ice Skating Social - ASCE CSULB x UCI

On March 8, we had our ice skating social with UCI. Our members connected with others from UCI while having fun in the ice skating rink.
ASCE LA YMF Student Scholarship and Job Fair Night

The American Society of Civil Engineers Los Angeles Younger Member Forum (ASCE LA YMF) works to inspire students of all ages to become the future leaders of Los Angeles by exposing them to the many opportunities within the Civil Engineering field. This year-round goal of supporting college student organizations culminates with the Student Night & Job Fair. The chapter with the most students in attendance was awarded $1000!
SWE x ASCE - Cementing Her Story
