ASCE OC University Outreach hosted a resume workshop at the CSULB campus on January 24th. A panel of professionals from recent graduates to more experienced engineers. Our panel consisted of Nathaniel Kapongo (LADOT) Matthew Mendoza (KHA), Mario Martinez (Flatiron), Ashlyn Alexander (Parsons), and Jennifer Marks (Psomas). The panel discussed online job searching, professional branding, networking, resumes, and interviewing. Rather than just speaking to them they had more of a discussion on the topics speaking about their experiences and answering questions from the students along the way. The students also had the chance to have their resumes reviewed in preparation for their Career Fair, held on January 30th-31st.
