ASCE OC University Outreach: Mock Interview Workshop 2025

This year’s mock interview event was held on January 24th, 2025 by ASCE OC YMF’s University Outreach Committee at Mark Thomas in Irvine. The event allowed students to practice their interview skills, from introducing themselves to their experience. Professionals acted as a sounding board to go over tips for better preparing for and communicating in an interview. Students and professionals alike collaborated and shared tips for putting their best foot forward in the hiring process. Special shoutout to Mark Thomas for letting us use their office and to all the professionals who helped make it possible!
About the Author:
Brisa is a current grad student of California State University, Fullerton, working as a geotechnical Engineer at LADWP. She was also very involved with ASCE and continues to do so through ASCE YMF, which is an organization of younger professionals showing the ropes to students still in undergrad.
