The ASCE UCI Student Chapter Hosts Multiple Spring Quarter Social Events for their Student Members!
April 13th, 2023 - Shrek Movie Marathon Social
ASCE students at UCI celebrate spring's beginning with an on-campus Movie Night. The first social event to kick off the spring quarter allowed ASCE members to destress and relax together. Inside a reserved movie theater, the members were able to bond and enjoy themselves outside the classroom setting through a Shrek movie marathon. Shoutout to Leo, the ASCE UCI President, for booking the private theater for the members to enjoy!
April 27th, 2023 - Picnic at Aldrich Park
ASCE at UCI hosts a club picnic on the grass of Aldrich Park to destress during exam season. Members were able to bring their blankets and snacks while relaxing under the spring sun. This social allowed these students to escape the classroom setting and enjoy each other’s company as a club.
May 11th, 2023 - Mentorship End Games
ASCE UCI Mentorship families compete against each other in a friendly spring quarter competition to close out the 2022-2023 Mentorship program. ASCE UCI hosted its Spring Mentorship End Games to close out its 2022-2023 school year mentorship program. Mentors competed alongside their Mentees to compete in various outside games against other Mentorship families. This friendly competition in Aldrich Park allowed ASCE members to earn points for their individual Mentorship families while having fun as a club.

Cedric Perez is a fourth-year Civil Engineering Student at the University of California, Irvine, and is currently the Internal Vice President of the ASCE UCI Student Chapter for the 2023-2024 school year. Cedric enjoys spending time with family and friends, enjoys playing basketball, and loves to be involved in on-campus organizations.
